Dahlia Project phase 2A begins oil production

Luanda - "Dahlia Project Phase 2A" (Phase 2 of the Dalia Field Development Plan) started oil production on January 3, 2017, announced Friday the State-owned Oil Company of Angola- Sonangol EP, Total E & P Angola and its Block 17 associates.,

In a press release that reached Angop, Sonagol and its associates from Block 17 say that this project will produce additional reserves of about 35 million barrels of oil and will add 30,000 barrels of oil per day to the block's production.

Dahlia Project Phase 2A comprises four filling wells connected to an existing Floating Production, Storage and Discharge Unit - Dalia FPSO.
